The Diary
A word on the diary, before you open it.
Every completed reading leaves a thread upon the page. Not the words spoken aloud, those belong to the moment alone. What stays is the record:
- which spread you chose
- the date and hour
- every card drawn, in its place
- name, position, orientation, and some whispers heard
When you finish a reading and step away, the spirits work hard to log it. They’re fiddly wee things, please be patient. The air can get a bit thick while they carry, so forgive a brief stumble. But they do their best, bless them.
Opening the diary
Your diary waits behind a locked cover, bearing your name.
From the hub: press B

Alter (diary settings)
At the year list, select Alter to fiddle with the book:
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Name | Your chosen name upon the cover (space allowing) |
| Order | Oldest-first or newest-first entry sorting |
| Erase | Remove past readings from your diary |
Erase
If a reading upsets you, or was made by accident, you can erase it from the book.
The list looks as it does when browsing. Select an entry with A. You will be asked to confirm. B leaves it be. A removes it for good.
Once it’s gone, it’s gone. I like to believe there are no accidents, and no bad readings… but what you keep is yours to decide.
Don’t worry, I won’t tell anyone.

Remember to Close when you are done. The lock will fall shut behind you. You are welcome to return at any time, darling.
A record kept is a lesson saved.
