Choosing a Reading

Press A from the hub to reach the READING screen.

Three rows:

Row	What it does
SPREAD	Pick your layout
DECK	Pick which cards to draw from
SEEK	Begin the reading

Up / Down - move between options
Left / Right - change spread or deck
A on Spread or Deck - move to the next option
A on Seek - start the reading
B - back to the hub

Available spreads

On the SPREADS option, cycle through:

Spread	Cards
1-bit Fortune	1
Root-Trunk-Branch	3
Pentagram	5
Celtic Cross	10
Horoscope	12

The spreads are standard paths through the woods, guides to help interpret the shade. Feel free to wander off them and adapt as you see fit.

Deck Filters

On the DECK option, cycle through:

Deck	Draws from
Full Deck	All 78 cards
Major Arcana	The 22 major arcana cards
Minor Arcana	Cups, Wands, Swords, Pentacles
Cups	Suit of Cups only
Pentacles	Suit of Pentacles only
Swords	Suit of Swords only
Wands	Suit of Wands only
Alternate	Continuosly takes one from each suit - see Pentagram for one useful pairing

The deck is the wood you walk through, the full forest to a single grove. Narrow it to tune how open, or how decided, the answer may be. When in doubt: full deck or just the major arcana are the most commonly used.

First, choose your layout. The spread shapes the query; the deck provides the voice. When the choices feel right, press Seek.
